Hometown Markets is a locally owned and flourishing establishment, operating three convenience stores, gas stations, and car wash facilities in Owosso, Michigan. We take pride in delivering top-quality products and exceptional service, solidifying our role as a trusted partner in the community.

We are currently seeking both Full-Time and Part-Time Store Associates to join our committed team. In this role, you will be integral to our daily store operations, ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience for every customer. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting patrons, operating the cash register, and managing transactions.
  • Uphold store cleanliness through tasks such as stocking shelves, emptying trash, and performing basic cleaning duties.
  • Complete shift paperwork accurately and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Adhere to store protocols while working independently and collaboratively with the team.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and fellow team members to ensure a positive experience.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and comply with store procedures.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities as directed by the store manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Strong dedication to customer service and teamwork.

Available Shifts:
8-hour shifts are scheduled throughout the week (Monday–Sunday), with shift availability varying by location.

  • Morning Shift: 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. or 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Currently filled but accepting applications for future openings.)
  • Afternoon Shift: 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. or 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. (Currently available.)
  • Overnight Shift: 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. or 11 p.m. – 7 a.m. (Currently available.)
