Job description:

The Rental Car Driver is responsible for transporting vehicles to and from designated locations, which may include airports or rental car facilities, in accordance with contractual requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid and unexpired driver’s license.
  • No prior experience is necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior customer service experience.
  • At least one year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles within and between rental locations as required.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues.
  • Report any incidents or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead promptly.
  • Operate various passenger vehicles, including SUVs, vans, and pickups.
  • Undertake pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure vehicles are in proper working order and compliant with safety standards.
