Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the scheduling for the Laundry department.
  • Organize and conduct training for newly hired employees and provide ongoing training for current staff.
  • Oversee the activities of laundry personnel to ensure that all linens are washed, dried, folded, and stored efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laundry department area.
  • Ensure that mechanical equipment is clean and well-maintained, reporting any issues to engineering for repair.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to Housekeeping team members.
  • Ensure laundry chemicals are adequately stocked and prepared for use, ensuring proper connections to equipment.
  • Conduct monthly inventory of linens.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in Housekeeping or Laundry operations.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
