Position Summary
- Laundry Worker: Responsibilities include collecting, sorting, and loading soiled linens into washers, loading clean linens into dryers, folding clean linens, recording processed linen counts, making appropriate deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the working area, including machines, work tables, and sorting areas.
- Safety Responsibilities: Use protective gear during all relevant tasks and ensure the safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions while adhering to established safety standards. Timely report equipment or cleaning product needs to supervisors and maintain compliance with infection control and hygiene protocols.
- Punctuality: The role requires consistent attendance, timely completion of tasks, and responsiveness to paging systems.
- Customer Experience: Clearly represent HCSG by adhering to instructions and maintaining courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
- Resident Experience: Engage in positive, respectful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
- A positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions while performing repetitive tasks.
- After relevant training, demonstrate leadership by executing responsibilities independently and safely.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
