Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering excellent customer service.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is an advantage, though not mandatory.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to accomplish daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in proximity to cleaning products.
• Capable of following both oral and written instructions and performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.
