Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Safely and efficiently operate laundry equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by positively engaging with residents, staff, and guests.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is advantageous but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is mandatory.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work with cleaning products is essential.
• Competence in following both oral and written instructions and performing routine, repetitive tasks.
• Residency within the service area is required.
