Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Laundry Workers to join our dedicated team at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machines for washing and drying articles such as sheets, draperies, linens, and carpets, ensuring the appropriate use of detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives.
• Sort, count, and organize articles removed from dryers, ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry closet.
• Inspect soiled articles to identify sources of stains, color imperfections, and items requiring special treatment.
• Iron or press fabrics, banquet linens, napkins, and spa linens using hand irons or pressing machines.
• Record all loads washed and dried to assess productivity, including any loss of linens due to stains, tears, and wear.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with others in fast-paced environments, demonstrating strong communication skills with both guests and team members.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Previous experience as a laundry worker in a hotel or high-volume location is advantageous, though not required.
• No specific educational credentials are necessary.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to adapt to varying temperatures based on weather conditions and the number of machines in operation.
