Position Summary
As a Department Manager, you will oversee the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff at a designated facility, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Management: Supervise and lead teams in performing housekeeping and laundry duties across various shifts.
  • Training & Development: Conduct staff training, quality control assessments, and ensure timely completion of projects. Regularly assess work quality through facility tours and quality control instruments.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records related to income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
  • Communication: Serve as the liaison between building occupants and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives from management.
  • Safety Protocol: Adhere to safety standards, assist in training regarding proper cleaning solution usage, and ensure compliance with infection control measures.
  • Punctuality: Exhibit consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Customer and Resident Relations: Foster positive interactions with clients, residents, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess:

  • The physical capability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull similar weights, and engage in extended periods of standing, siting, bending, and walking.
