Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations.
  • Direct light and heavy housekeeping as well as laundry duties across various shifts.
  • Lead staff training initiatives, quality control measures, and in-service sessions, ensuring timely completion of projects and programs.
  • Maintain accurate records pertaining to income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
  • Serve as a liaison between facility occupants/administrative staff and HCSG personnel, communicating directives effectively.
  • Utilize protective equipment appropriately; ensure safe handling of cleaning products and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Exhibit regular attendance, punctuality, and timely fulfillment of responsibilities.
  • Represent HCSG positively through courteous and professional interactions with supervisors, colleagues, client staff, residents, and visitors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
  • Physical capability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Proficient in performing routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Ability to work in proximity to food and cleaning products.
  • Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
