Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage machines, washing and drying items such as sheets, draperies, linens, and carpets, ensuring appropriate volumes of detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives are utilized.
• Sort, count, and organize items removed from dryers, maintaining cleanliness and order within the laundry area.
• Inspect soiled articles for stains, color imperfections, and items requiring special treatment.
• Iron or press articles, fabrics, banquet linens, napkins, and spa linens using hand irons or pressing machines.
• Document all loads washed and dried to evaluate productivity, including tracking loss of linens due to stains, tears, and wear.

Qualifications:

• Ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced environments and communicate efficiently with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Prior experience as a laundry worker in a hotel or high-volume facility is advantageous, though not mandatory.
• No formal experience or diploma is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Possible exposure to varying temperatures, contingent upon weather and the number of machines in operation.
• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and lifting during shifts.
