As a Lead Product Manager for the rapidly expanding Cox Mobile residential offering, you will provide ongoing and visible leadership focused on product performance and future development, including go-to-market strategies. You will hold responsibility and serve as the primary authority on all facets of the product portfolio lifecycle, which impacts hundreds of thousands of Cox Mobile customers. Your role will include defining straightforward and intuitive product offerings, authoring business cases, establishing strategic product visions, outlining product requirements, and advocating for an exceptional customer experience. Additionally, you will coordinate launch activities, manage financial and operational metrics, prioritize enhancements, and develop product roadmaps.
Recognized as the leading subject matter expert within a defined portfolio of products, you may oversee product programs involving single to multi-year plans and play a pivotal role in identifying innovative solutions for complex challenges. Your position will require providing influence and leadership to cross-functional teams and stakeholders on ideas and strategies that can significantly affect industry and corporate outcomes. You will also be tasked with mentoring and guiding team members and associates.
In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams by modeling a strong commitment to satisfying customer needs. You will build consensus and collaborate effectively with Technology professionals, Sales, Service, Marketing, Customer Experience and Insights, Training, Change Management, Legal, as well as system architects and subject matter experts to ensure actionable outcomes. By leveraging product innovation and enhancing internal processes and technology, you will elevate the customer experience. You will synthesize information to proactively assess current and future customer needs. Providing input for budgetary decisions and managing product portfolio roadmaps that require multi-year planning will also be key aspects of your responsibilities. Operating with considerable independence and judgment, you will recommend resources necessary to balance and address customer requirements and negotiate solutions with peers and first-level management.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle and ensure successful market launches, in collaboration with Product Operations for ongoing lifecycle management.
- Achieve business objectives through meticulous planning, appropriate resource allocation, and diligent oversight of work accuracy.
- Champion product initiatives to secure necessary cross-functional support and sponsorship, directly and indirectly influencing resources and stakeholder collaboration.
- Exhibit leadership in project development, team dynamics, business insights, and product management practices.
- Collaborate with Markets, Sales, Service, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Experience to derive business insights and develop business cases that guide product solutions.
- Identify customer expectations and unmet needs to innovate product features from ideation through development, testing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Foster a strong partnership with the Technology organization and stay informed on advancements in mobile services, cloud technologies, and consumer electronics.
- Collaborate closely with Tech Development Leads/Architects and UX leads to define robust business requirements, ensuring they align with design mandates and incorporate necessary policies and processes.
- Analyze customer, business, and product performance metrics to identify underlying drivers and formulate data-driven recommendations.
- Develop a strategic vision for the product family, translating it into clear and actionable business requirements that drive functional and technical specifications.
- Create and refine business cases that articulate product value propositions to support roadmap investments alongside business partners.
- Establish and optimize operational practices and procedures that drive efficiencies across the organization.
- Monitor industry trends, vendor developments, and technological advancements to assess their implications for customer expectations and product trajectories.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to associates and peers, offering insights and recommendations grounded in expertise.
- Contribute to management recommendations regarding resources, personnel, and funding necessary to execute product programs aligned with organizational goals.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Technology, Marketing, Process Improvement) along with six years of related experience. Alternative qualifications may include a Master’s degree and four years of experience, a Ph.D. and one year of experience, or ten years of pertinent experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills for effective teamwork across the organization.
- Demonstrated strong technical and market expertise.
