AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for a “Lead, Starbucks Barista” in Holland, MI, we should consider factors such as the local cost of living, typical wages for baristas, and the responsibilities associated with a lead role. Industry standards for a barista in Michigan generally range from $12 to $15 per hour, while lead or supervisory positions may command higher pay, often between $15 to $20 per hour or more depending on experience and the specific employer. If the offered hourly rate falls within or exceeds this range, it can be deemed competitive and equitable, aligning with both local market trends and industry standards. However, if the rate is significantly lower, it may not attract sufficient talent given the increasing focus on fair wages and living conditions.
