Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
– Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchenware using dishwashers or by hand, adhering to all relevant food safety codes and regulations.
– Collecting waste from warehouse and kitchen areas, emptying garbage cans, washing, and re-lining them with new bags, and disposing of trash in the compactor.
– Breaking down boxes and recycling them in the appropriate dumpsters.
– Cleaning the dish machine and dish area, and polishing all stainless steel surfaces in the warehouse and kitchen.
– Assisting with the unloading of incoming deliveries and ensuring proper storage of all products in designated areas.
– Responding to radio calls during events and aiding in product deliveries to various stands.
– Sweeping and mopping floors in the warehouse and kitchen.
– Properly storing all dishes and other wares.
– Performing additional tasks such as assisting with food preparation, storing foods post-events, and cleaning coolers, freezers, and storerooms.
– Continuously inspecting kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness and ensure they remain dry and free of debris.
– Assisting in maintaining a weekly kitchen cleaning list.
– Safely cleaning and storing all brooms, mops, and other cleaning equipment.
– Using chemical cleaning supplies safely and responsibly.
– Understanding and adhering to sanitation practices, including those related to personal hygiene.
– Undertaking other relevant tasks as assigned by the Culinary Supervisor.
