Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchenware using dishwashers or manually, adhering to applicable food safety standards and regulations.
  • Collect and dispose of trash from warehouse and kitchen areas; empty garbage cans, replace liners, and transport waste to the compactor.
  • Break down cardboard boxes and ensure recycling is directed to the appropriate dumpster.
  • Clean the dish machine and dishwashing area, and polish all stainless steel surfaces in the warehouse and kitchen.
  • Assist with the unloading of incoming deliveries, ensuring products are stored appropriately.
  • Respond to radio calls in the warehouse during events and assist with product deliveries to various stands.
  • Sweep and mop floors in the warehouse and kitchen areas.
  • Properly store all dishes and kitchenware in designated locations.
  • Perform additional tasks such as assisting with food preparation, post-event food storage, and cleaning of coolers, freezers, and storerooms.
  • Continuously inspect kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness, dryness, and freedom from debris.
  • Assist in completing the weekly kitchen cleaning checklist.
  • Safely clean and store all brooms, mops, and cleaning equipment.
  • Use chemical cleaning supplies in a safe and careful manner.
  • Understand and consistently follow proper sanitation practices, including personal hygiene standards.
  • Complete other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Culinary Supervisor.
