Job description:

Ford Caputo Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. We are pleased to offer a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus for Licensed Veterinary Technicians.

Located in Redford Charter Township, Michigan, our AAHA-accredited practice comprises a team of five veterinarians who provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats. Our range of services includes routine surgeries, ultrasound, dental care, laser therapy, and more. A hallmark of our practice is our commitment to education; we cultivate an environment that empowers our team to continually learn and grow.

Our hospital is equipped with advanced in-house lab technology, including the Imagyst, a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence cytology reader that efficiently analyzes ear cytologies, fecals, urines, and fine needle aspirates. Recently, we have expanded our services to include Canine Rehabilitation Therapy, catering to patients undergoing post-surgical recovery or suffering from mobility issues. Our approach integrates massage, manipulation, strengthening equipment, laser therapy, and electrical stimulation to enhance the healing process.

We have embraced innovative technology with the introduction of Scribe Note, which utilizes artificial intelligence to transcribe conversations with clients into veterinary medical documentation effortlessly. By capturing vital information as veterinarians converse with pet owners, Scribe Note streamlines our documentation process, facilitating more efficient care.

Our veterinary technicians play an integral role in our practice, engaging in a variety of clinical tasks including phlebotomy, administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and supporting patients throughout their care journey. We encourage our team members to utilize their training fully and contribute to our growth as a hospital, continually seeking ways to enhance our service offerings.

We pride ourselves on a collaborative leadership style, fostering accountability through open discussions to ensure that our team remains aligned. Recognizing the significance of mental health in veterinary medicine, we maintain a supportive work culture that prioritizes well-being. We offer a four-day workweek with rotational Saturdays (every third week), and our facility includes a dedicated mental health room for staff needing a brief respite.

We invite you to consider joining our exceptional team.
