Job Description
Job Title: Licensed Veterinary Technician
Company: Gasow Veterinary Hospital
Location: Birmingham, MI
Pay: $22 – 25 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $22 to $25 for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Birmingham, MI, is generally considered competitive, though it sits at the lower end of the typical salary range for this role in the region. As of recent data, LVTs in Michigan commonly earn between $18 and $30 per hour, with urban areas often offering higher rates due to cost of living and demand. Given Birmingham’s affluent demographic and the increasing need for veterinary care, this pay range may attract qualified candidates but could be less appealing compared to opportunities in larger metropolitan areas or specialty practices that offer more competitive compensation. Overall, while the pay is reasonable, it may not fully align with current industry standards for skilled technicians in high-demand settings.
