Job Title: Lifeguard

Company: Grand Blanc Township

Location: Grand Blanc, MI

Pay: $14 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14 for a Lifeguard position in Grand Blanc, MI, is generally considered below the national average for this role. As of 2023, lifeguards in the United States typically earn between $15 to $20 per hour, depending on factors like location, experience, and the nature of the institution (e.g., public pool vs. private club). In Michigan, rates may vary slightly but tend to align with the national average. In Grand Blanc specifically, the cost of living and regional wage standards may justify a slightly lower wage, but $14 may limit competitiveness and attract qualified candidates. Therefore, to enhance recruitment efforts and ensure fairness, it may be advisable for employers to re-evaluate this compensation rate.
