Line and Prep Cook Duties and Responsibilities
As a valued member of our culinary team, you will be tasked with preparing food that is not only fresh and visually appealing but also delicious and in accordance with member specifications. Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the freshness of ingredients and final products.
- Preparing workstations for service.
- Following recipes with precision, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
- Employing various cooking techniques.
- Presenting, garnishing, and arranging final dishes.
- Maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment by properly handling food, utensils, equipment, and dishes.
- Safely handling and storing ingredients and food items while upholding food safety and sanitation standards.
- Communicating effectively with both back-of-house and front-of-house Food and Beverage teams.
- Disposing of waste in designated dumpster areas at the end of shifts.
- Being able to stand for shifts lasting between 4 to 8 hours.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs as required.
