Line and Prep Cook Duties and Responsibilities

As a valued member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering food that is fresh, visually appealing, delicious, and cooked to our members’ specifications. Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that all ingredients and final products are fresh.
  • Preparing your workstation for efficient service.
  • Following recipes accurately, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
  • Utilizing various cooking techniques to create high-quality dishes.
  • Presenting, garnishing, and arranging final dishes attractively.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, which includes proper handling of food ingredients, utensils, equipment, and dishes.
  • Storing and handling ingredients and food items in adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Communicating effectively with both back-of-house and front-of-house food and beverage team members.
  • Disposing of garbage in the designated dumpster area at the end of shifts.
  • Being able to stand for shifts lasting 4-8 hours.
  • Lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.

Job Types: Full-time & Part-time
Pay Range: $13-$18 per hour, commensurate with experience and performance.
