We are currently looking for skilled Line Cooks to prepare food according to precise specifications and set up cooking stations aligned with our menu offerings. As a Line Cook, you will also support the Kitchen Manager with various daily tasks. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing the satisfaction of our guests at Anna’s House.
The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of dishes served to our guests, including both standard and specialty menu items. Proficiency in consistently and efficiently producing each order to meet the quality and safety standards expected by both Anna’s House and our guests is essential.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently prepare and cook menu items for guests in collaboration with the kitchen team.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and deep fryers.
- Multitask effectively by managing multiple orders simultaneously while adhering to guest specifications.
- Ensure that all food items are produced simultaneously, maintaining high quality and delivering in a timely manner.
- Prepare, wash, and cut ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
- Follow directives given by the Kitchen Manager and General Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness at the work station and properly store leftover food.
- Set up and stock food stations with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with coworkers and guests.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Culinary school diploma is a plus.
Experience
- Preferred proven cooking experience in roles such as Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
Skills
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
