Your Role:
As a Line Cook, your primary responsibility is to create “Raving Fans” among our Associates, Guests, Purveyors, Partners, and the Communities in which we operate.

Summary:

Our Line Cooks are tasked with preparing a diverse array of hot and cold food items, including salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers. Responsibilities include portioning, washing, peeling, slicing, and mixing various ingredients for entrees, appetizers, salads, and garnishes. Additionally, you will carve and slice meats and cheeses, and measure and mix ingredients to craft dressings and sauces, adhering to established recipes.

Essential Functions of the Position Include, but Are Not Limited to:

  • Arriving at work punctually as scheduled, maintaining a clean and appropriate uniform, and practicing excellent personal hygiene throughout all shifts.
  • Preparing all food items in accordance with company specifications, recipes, procedures, plate presentation, and quality standards, ensuring a superior dining experience for our guests.
  • Demonstrating proper food safety techniques in handling and preparation, including personal hygiene, hand washing, gloving, and knife skills.
  • Familiarity with emergency procedures within the restaurant.
  • Upholding the highest standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety in all work areas, including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving.
  • Completing all assigned duties while adhering to safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift, and promptly reporting any unsafe conditions, acts, accidents, or injuries.
