North High Brewing is dedicated to crafting exceptional beers that reflect our brand’s identity. In addition to our artisanal brews, we provide a comprehensive menu featuring made-from-scratch dishes, cater to private events, and organize community gatherings. Our inaugural restaurant in Historic Dublin opened its doors in 2020, followed by our Uptown Westerville location in the Fall of 2023.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Prepare and plate all food items in accordance with North High Brewing’s recipes and standards.
  • Conduct visual inspections of all food items entering and exiting the kitchen.
  • Accurately identify and prepare all menu offerings.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with weighing and measuring ingredients.
  • Execute food preparation through various cooking techniques, including frying, sautéing, baking, and boiling.
  • Set up, break down, and clean all workstations and kitchen areas.
  • Ensure that the workspace is well-maintained, equipment is operational, and sanitation standards are adhered to.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal health codes and sanitation regulations.
  • Properly cover, date, and label all food items designated for storage in accordance with health code guidelines.
  • Operate all kitchen equipment proficiently and adhere to appropriate cleaning protocols.
  • Assist in executing all daily kitchen duties effectively.
  • Maintain proper uniform attire at all times while on duty.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, and expediting meals, including à la carte and banquet services.
  • Report any food shortages or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain the ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Uphold professional standards in all aspects of the work environment.
  • Interact with co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Follow all safety, emergency, and sanitation policies, promptly reporting any violations to the designated supervisor.
  • Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning responsibilities as needed or directed by management.
  • Organize truck deliveries, ensuring proper food hierarchy and adherence to FIFO standards.
  • Fulfill any additional tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager, Assistant Kitchen Manager, or Lead Line Cook.

Qualifications:

  • A strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Food safety certifications are preferred.
