Responsibilities/Requirements:
– Prepare and plate all food items according to North High Brewing recipes and standards.
– Conduct visual inspections of all food items entering and leaving the kitchen.
– Identify and prepare all menu offerings with proficiency.
– Demonstrate familiarity with weighing and measuring ingredients.
– Utilize various cooking methods, such as frying, sautéing, baking, and boiling, as necessary.
– Set up, break down, and maintain cleanliness at all stations and throughout the kitchen.
– Inspect work areas to ensure that equipment is functional and sanitary.
– Comply with local, state, and federal health codes and sanitation regulations.
– Cover, date, and label all stored food items following health code protocols.
– Utilize all kitchen equipment effectively, ensuring proper cleaning methods are employed.
– Assist in the completion of daily tasks.
– Adhere to proper uniform standards at all times.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
– Prepare, cook, and expedite food for both à la carte and banquet services.
– Communicate any food shortages or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
– Maintain the ability to stand for extended periods.
– Lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.
– Uphold professional standards within the workplace.
– Interact with colleagues in a respectful and professional manner.
– Ensure compliance with safety, emergency, and sanitation policies and report any violations to the supervising manager.
– Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed or directed by management.
– Organize truck deliveries while adhering to food hierarchy and FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
– Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager, Assistant Kitchen Manager, or Lead Line Cook.

Qualifications:
– A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.
– A desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
– Food safety certifications are preferred.
