Position Overview:
As a Line Cook, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional culinary experience to our guests through the meticulous preparation and presentation of our menu items. You will ensure the proper handling and preparation of all food items, prioritizing guest safety and satisfaction at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an unparalleled guest experience by delivering the finest combinations of food, beverages, and entertainment in a vibrant setting conducive to celebration.
- Keep your immediate supervisor apprised of any significant issues or unusual occurrences and take prompt corrective action when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Operate all kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
- Utilize chemicals appropriately and in the right quantities to ensure safety and cost efficiency.
- Store all products properly in designated locations and at appropriate levels.
- Prepare and serve food that meets all quality standards and aligns with guest expectations.
- Ensure all food is sold within recommended timeframes to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and cook all food items according to established recipes and specifications.
- Control costs effectively by following prep sheets that ensure fresh product delivery and reduce waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout all kitchen areas.
- Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation of your designated station.
- Clean and maintain all kitchen mats, floors, walls, and drains.
- Manage kitchen trash disposal and ensure trash cans are cleaned and maintained.
- Assist fellow team members as needed, especially during busy periods.
- Foster a positive working relationship with all team members to promote a cooperative and productive work environment.
- Exhibit a friendly demeanor and maintain a positive attitude while working during days, nights, and weekends as required.
- Previous kitchen experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
