Position Summary:
Line cooks will play a pivotal role in preparing food items for all dining room orders, adhering to local health department standards, as well as 6PM Hospitality’s Core Values, Hilton standards, and local health regulations—all while striving to exceed guest expectations for complete satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Arrive at work in a professional, neat, and clean uniform.
- Greet all guests warmly and positively.
- Engage with guests to foster personal connections, making them feel welcome and valued.
- Anticipate guest needs and exceed their expectations.
- Collect food and beverage products and small wares necessary for item preparation.
- Operate food production equipment according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Diligently follow standard recipes while preparing assigned items.
- Notify supervisors of anticipated shortages and excesses.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas and equipment.
- Assist supervisors in ensuring security and safety in the kitchen.
- Set up, maintain, and break down the prep cook station, ensuring order and cleanliness.
- Requisition items required for menu preparation.
- Comply with local health and safety regulations.
- Maintain health department logs as required.
- Properly cover, date, and store all reusable leftover products.
- Uphold the highest sanitary standards consistently.
- Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality.
- Follow all 6PM Hospitality processes, completing other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:
Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with at least one year of relevant job experience.
License, Registration, and/or Certification Required: ServSafe certification is preferred.
