In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food to precise specifications and setting up stations as per our menu requirements. You will also assist the Kitchen Manager with daily tasks, playing a crucial role in enhancing guest satisfaction at Anna’s House.

As a Line Cook, you will prepare, season, and cook all menu items served to our guests, encompassing regular menu offerings, specialty selections, and features. The ideal candidate will demonstrate skill in consistently and efficiently producing each order while adhering to the high quality and safety standards expected by Anna’s House and our patrons.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items swiftly and efficiently, collaborating with kitchen staff.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and deep fryers.
  • Multitask by handling multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring adherence to guest specifications.
  • Ensure that food is delivered simultaneously, maintaining high quality and timeliness.
  • Prepare, wash, and cut ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or crafting sauces.
  • Report to and follow the directives of the Kitchen Manager and General Manager.
  • Maintain a clean work station and properly store leftover food.
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
  • Comply with nutritional, sanitation, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with coworkers and guests.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Culinary school diploma is a plus.

Experience:

  • Proven cooking experience, preferably as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
