Are you seeking an engaging and dynamic work environment? Do you have a passion for preparing unique and delicious meals? Anna’s House has an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a Line Cook to prepare food to precise specifications and efficiently set up stations for our menu offerings. In this role, you will also assist the Kitchen Manager with daily operations, contributing significantly to guest satisfaction at Anna’s House.
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking menu items for our guests, including specialty menus and daily features. The ideal candidate will demonstrate skill in producing each order consistently and efficiently, adhering to the quality and safety standards that both Anna’s House and our guests expect.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items for guests promptly and effectively, collaborating with the kitchen team.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment, including griddles, grills, and deep fryers.
- Multitask by managing several orders simultaneously, ensuring all items are prepared per guest preferences.
- Ensure that food is served simultaneously, maintaining high quality and timeliness.
- Prepare, wash, and cut ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
- Follow instructions from the Kitchen Manager and General Manager, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness at your work station and properly store any leftover food.
- Set up and stock stations with all required supplies.
- Adhere to all nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive and professional demeanor towards coworkers and guests.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Culinary school diploma is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven cooking experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
