Are you seeking a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where you can showcase your culinary skills? Anna’s House is currently seeking dedicated Line Cooks to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food to precise specifications and setting up cooking stations according to the menu. You will also be expected to assist the Kitchen Manager with daily operational tasks, ultimately contributing to the satisfaction of our guests.
As a Line Cook, you will prepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes to be served to our guests, adhering to the high standards of quality and safety expected at Anna’s House. Your skill and efficiency in consistently producing each order will be crucial to our team’s success.
Responsibilities:
– Efficiently prepare and cook menu items in collaboration with the kitchen staff.
– Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and deep fryers.
– Multitask by managing multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring all items meet guest specifications.
– Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of food.
– Prepare, wash, and cut ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables and butchering meat.
– Follow instructions and provide updates to the Kitchen Manager and General Manager.
– Maintain a clean work station and properly store leftover food.
– Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies.
– Adhere to nutritional, sanitation, and safety regulations.
– Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with both coworkers and guests.
– Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
– High school diploma or equivalent is required.
– Culinary school diploma is a plus.
Experience:
– Proven cooking experience is preferred, including roles as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
Skills:
