We are currently seeking a hospitality-focused Cook to join our team. This role encompasses full-scope, hands-on production cooking within the Community Culinary Services Department, while upholding the highest standards of quality service and cleanliness at all times.

Key Responsibilities of the Cook include:
– Consistently exemplifying community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization.
– Adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards at all times.
– Producing and serving menu cycle programs that comply with required nutritional and dietary criteria as mandated by local regulations and ensuring accurate preparation of specified diets per established policies and procedures.
– Demonstrating speed, accuracy, and efficiency in cooking standards.
– Exhibiting a thorough knowledge of all facets of cooking preparation and production.
– Assisting with meal service and ware washing as necessary.
– Regularly engaging with residents to assess food service quality, quantity, temperature, and presentation; making operational evaluations and recommendations to enhance the overall dining experience.
– Representing the community in a warm and inviting manner to foster a positive marketing environment.
– Contributing to a culture where business decisions and individual employee engagement drive revenue growth and occupancy rates.

Qualifications:
– High school diploma required.
– Culinary degree preferred.
– Minimum of one year of culinary experience in a restaurant, senior living, or equivalent setting.
