Job Summary
We are seeking a Line Cook who is eager to prepare and cook food in alignment with Perkins’ standards. This role is integral in ensuring our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience through your dedication to crafting high-quality cuisine.
Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to established recipes and quality guidelines.
- Ensure food is presented attractively and meets established standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend additional preparation as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding ticket times, service potential issues, and other operational matters.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked work environment, following proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand, walk, stretch, and bend for extended periods.
