Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Prep/Line Cook to join our dynamic team at a busy restaurant. This role will involve utilizing high-quality, farm-fresh, non-GMO, and locally sourced ingredients to prepare exceptional meals for our customers. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prep during two morning shifts with lunch line responsibilities and three evening closing shifts.
- Set up the kitchen with the necessary tools and equipment.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and restock as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards.
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or management.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes.
- Ability to remain composed and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing and lifting up to 40 pounds.
