Job description:
At SSP America, we are seeking dedicated Line Cooks to join our team. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00, full-time employment, comprehensive benefits, and immediate hiring with opportunities for career advancement.

As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen by receiving food orders and expertly preparing delicious dishes for our guests. You will ensure the kitchen is well-organized, with all necessary products and tools readily accessible during your shift. Your responsibilities will include:

– Following recipes meticulously and practicing portion control to prepare, garnish, and present dishes as ordered.
– Maintaining an organized and adequately stocked kitchen or station on a daily basis.
– Requisitioning and stocking essential food items, paper products, and condiments.
– Properly handling, storing, and rotating all products to ensure freshness and quality.
– Managing the set-up, ongoing maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of kitchen machinery and equipment.
– Ensuring the quality of all perishables by overseeing their stock, cutting, and storage on a daily basis.
– Completing required opening, ongoing, and closing checklists.
– Taking responsibility for the quality of all products served.
– Performing general and specific cleaning duties with standard cleaning products as directed by your supervisor, ensuring compliance with health standards.
– Undertaking additional tasks as assigned.

Required skills and qualifications include:

– A minimum of one year of experience in a food service environment.
