As a Line Cook at SSP America, you can expect to:
– Follow established recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present requested items
– Ensure the kitchen and your station are adequately set up each day
– Requisition and stock all necessary food, paper products, and condiments
– Properly handle, store, and rotate all products
– Maintain and clean machinery and equipment regularly
– Oversee the stock, cutting, and daily storage of perishable items to ensure product quality
– Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists efficiently
– Take responsibility for the quality of products served
– Execute general and specific cleaning tasks using designated cleaning products to comply with health standards
– Perform additional duties as assigned
