Job Title: Line Cook

Company: The Reserve at Red Run

Location: Royal Oak, MI

Pay: $16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $16 for a Line Cook position in Royal Oak, MI, is considered below the average industry standard. According to various wage reports, the typical pay for line cooks in the metropolitan Detroit area generally ranges from $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and the specific establishment. While entry-level positions may start around $15, more experienced line cooks can earn closer to $18-$22 per hour, particularly in higher-end restaurants. Furthermore, with the cost of living and inflation factors in Michigan, the rate may not attract candidates seeking competitive compensation. Overall, while $16 is within the lower range for this role, it may not be sufficient to attract skilled workers in a tight labor market.
