Job Description
Job Title: Line Cook
Company: The Reserve at Red Run
Location: Warren, MI
Pay: $16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of 2023, an hourly rate of $16 for a Line Cook in Warren, MI, is somewhat on the lower end of the spectrum when comparing it to industry standards. Typically, line cooks in Michigan earn between $14 to $20 per hour, with the average being around $17.50 to $19, depending on factors such as experience, type of establishment, and local demand. Given that Warren is part of the Detroit metropolitan area, where the cost of living is slightly higher, a $16 wage may not be very competitive, particularly for experienced line cooks or in establishments that require specialized skills. Therefore, while this rate may attract entry-level candidates, it may struggle to retain skilled workers or appeal to those seeking competitive pay in the culinary field.
