Looking for a dynamic and fast-paced work environment? Do you have a passion for creating unique and flavorful meals? Anna’s House is currently seeking Line Cooks with weekend availability to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food according to precise specifications and setting up stations for the menu. Additionally, you will assist the Kitchen Manager with daily tasks, contributing significantly to our guests’ satisfaction.
As a Line Cook, you will prepare, season, and cook all items served to our guests, including menu items and specialty features. You will excel at consistently delivering each order while adhering to the quality and safety standards expected by both Anna’s House and our clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently prepare and cook menu items for guests, collaborating with kitchen staff.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and deep fryers.
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring all items align with guest specifications.
- Ensure timely and high-quality output of food to guests.
- Prepare and cut ingredients for cooking, including vegetables, meats, and sauces.
- Follow instructions from the Kitchen Manager and General Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and properly store leftover food.
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive and professional demeanor with coworkers and guests.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Culinary school diploma is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven cooking experience, preferably as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Manual dexterity for operating cutting tools and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
