We are currently in search of a part-time Line Cook with weekend availability to prepare and present food according to our precise standards and assist the Kitchen Manager with daily responsibilities. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing guest satisfaction at Anna’s House.

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of menu items served to our guests, including daily specials and features. You will demonstrate proficiency in producing each order consistently and efficiently while adhering to the quality and safety standards we uphold.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently prepare and cook menu items for guests in collaboration with the kitchen team.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and deep fryers.
  • Multitask by cooking multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring all items are prepared according to guest specifications.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality food delivery for all orders.
  • Prepare and cut ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and crafting sauces.
  • Follow instructions from the Kitchen Manager and General Manager, reporting any issues as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work station and properly store leftover food.
  • Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with coworkers and guests.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Culinary school diploma is a plus.

Experience:

  • Previous cooking experience, particularly as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook, is preferred.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
