Job description:

The Word Equestrian Center, located in Wilmington, OH, is seeking a dedicated Full-time Line Cook to join our esteemed culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, relevant experience in food and banquet services, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. Availability on weekends is essential.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the manager on duty to review the daily prep list and determine needs for service.
  • Adhere to company recipes and procedures while preparing and cooking food.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Review guest checks to ensure all food items are accurately accounted for.
  • Uphold a high standard of hygiene and presentable appearance.
  • Assist in managing food costs and minimizing waste.
  • Follow established sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Display a sense of ownership with respect to kitchen equipment.
  • Work effectively and professionally with other restaurant departments.
  • Participate in opening and closing duties, as well as cleanup tasks as required.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by management.
