Job description:

The Word Equestrian Center, located in Wilmington, OH, is seeking a dedicated Full-time Line Cook to join our esteemed culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, previous experience in food and banquet services, and a strong commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. Weekend availability is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the manager on duty to determine the day’s preparation requirements based on the prep list.
  • Adhere to company recipes and procedures in the preparation and cooking of food.
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized workspace.
  • Verify guest checks to ensure accurate billing of all food items.
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene and personal appearance.
  • Assist in controlling costs and minimizing waste.
  • Implement and observe good sanitation and safety practices.
  • Maintain a sense of ownership regarding kitchen equipment.
  • Work diligently and professionally with other departments within the restaurant.
  • Participate in opening and closing duties, as well as cleanup tasks as necessary.
  • Perform any additional duties as requested by management.
