Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who will:
- Collaborate closely with Registered Nurses on patient assessments
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Conduct routine lab tests and therapeutic services
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care
- Identify safety hazards and emergency situations to ensure resident safety and take appropriate corrective action
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer date
- Valid Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license obtained prior to hire or transfer date
- High school diploma or GED
