Job description:

Village Green is actively seeking enthusiastic individuals to become part of our Customer Service team, serving as the first point of contact at our award-winning apartment communities.

The Concierge plays a crucial role as a customer service representative for both prospective and current residents. Responsibilities include serving as the hospitality ambassador on-site, ensuring that residents, visitors, prospects, and vendors are greeted warmly and professionally. This position addresses residents’ requests, questions, and needs, acts as a liaison to the Management office, and assists in the leasing process when the leasing office is closed or when demands dictate. Compensation for this role ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, in addition to a quarterly bonus.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Greet residents and guests with courtesy and friendliness upon their arrival.
  • Develop familiarity with community attractions and local amenities to provide informed recommendations when requested.
  • Supply brochures, floor plans, and other informational materials to clients.
  • Complete guest cards, offer mini tours, and represent leasing interests during off hours.
  • Retrieve packages for residents.
  • Provide refreshments for residents and guests.
  • Maintain the Concierge Binder.
  • Ensure the front lobby is stocked with magazines, informational collateral, maps, transportation schedules, menus, and other items as specified in the binder.
  • Utilize the Internet to assist with providing detailed information to residents and guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk, lobby area, and storage closets as applicable.
  • Prepare incident reports and related documentation.
  • Adhere to established policies regarding fair housing.
  • Communicate courteously and professionally with co-workers, management, residents, vendors, and all external contacts.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of co-workers, management, owners, past and current residents, vendors, and all external contacts.
