Job Description
Job Title: Machine Operator I- Nights
Company: Dawn Foods
Location: Jackson, MI
Pay: $18.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $18.50 for a “Machine Operator I – Nights” in Jackson, MI, tends to be on the lower end of the pay scale when compared to industry standards in the region. Typically, machine operators in Michigan earn between $16 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and the complexity of the machinery operated. Factors such as local cost of living, demand for skilled labor, and the specific employer can influence wages, but overall, $18.50 may not attract competitive candidates given the increasing wage expectations in manufacturing roles. Therefore, this rate could be seen as a challenge for recruitment in a tight labor market.
