Job description:

A manufacturing company has an opportunity for a motivated individual to operate and manage machines while applying labels to outgoing shipments of industrial and consumer products. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare products for delivery and manage storage and handling processes.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials to ensure an efficient workflow and operate a forklift as needed.
  • Inspect equipment to guarantee safe operation at all times.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all labels.
  • Print labels using SAP, read Process Orders, and confirm the correct quantity of labels and pails.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties for the Labeler Machine.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as required.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge of operating automated labeling machinery is essential.
  • Ability to maintain a one-day lead on labeled pails for production is required.
  • Proficiency in computer use is necessary, with SAP experience being advantageous.
  • A strong safety consciousness and the ability to maintain the Label Machine and work area in a clean and orderly condition are essential.
