Job description:
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing facility maintenance duties and engaging with customers. While previous experience is preferred, it is not a requirement for all roles. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision. Additional responsibilities include equipment servicing and general housekeeping tasks.

– Execute all maintenance and cleaning tasks as outlined in checklists and directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure thorough removal of dirt, dust, litter, and debris from all areas of the facility, utilizing brooms, mops, brushes, and other hand tools.
– Conduct daily inspections of the garage to identify and rectify any maintenance issues.
– Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and picking up around entrances and exits, as well as cleaning surface areas such as rails on all levels, the booth, office, and restrooms.
– Empty all trash receptacles in the garage, booth, and office.
– Paint designated areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to uphold the appearance of painted surfaces, including poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, and gates.
– Replace burned-out bulbs as needed.
– Apply oil absorbent materials to address oil spills.
– Submit maintenance requests for necessary repairs.
– Inspect safety items, such as gate arms, to ensure secure clearance bars.
– Verify the proper operation of ticket spitters and gates on a daily basis, including ticket supply, clock accuracy, and overall appearance.
– Provide ticket and record gate counters to the manager.
– Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies.
– Keep a document of garage/lot sweeping activities.
– Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor equipment such as weed eaters and lawnmowers, as well as other electrical tools for repairs or construction tasks, as applicable.
– Clear snow from entrance and exit ramps, as well as designated areas, using shovels, snow blowers, and other light-duty equipment.
– Report any known, observed, or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager promptly.
– Adhere to the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and the Five Customer Service Behaviors to ensure positive customer interactions.
– Assist customers within the facility or as instructed by the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
– Address customer complaints independently or with the supervision of management as necessary.
– Be knowledgeable about all aspects of operations and assist with other duties, such as cashier and attendant roles, as needed.
– Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards before and during scheduled shifts.
– Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Salary Range: $16.50-$17/hr
