Job description:
Responsibilities
This position entails maintenance responsibilities within the facility and engaging with customers. While previous experience is preferred, it is not mandatory for all roles. The individual must work effectively with minimal supervision and is expected to perform various tasks, including equipment service and general housekeeping duties.

– Execute all maintenance and cleaning tasks as outlined in assigned checklists and directed by the Facility Manager or Supervisor, ensuring the removal of dirt, dust, litter, and debris from all facility areas using appropriate tools such as brooms, mops, and brushes.
– Conduct daily inspections of the garage to identify and rectify any maintenance issues.
– Maintain cleanliness around entrances, exits, stairwells, and surface areas including rails on all levels, as well as the booth, office, and restrooms.
– Empty all waste receptacles located in the garage, booth, and office areas.
– Paint designated areas within the facility as instructed by the Facility Manager/Supervisor to ensure aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained painted surfaces, including poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, and gates.
– Replace burnt-out bulbs as necessary.
– Apply oil absorbent materials to spills as needed.
– Submit requests for any required repairs or maintenance.
– Inspect safety devices such as gate arms to ensure security and proper functionality.
– Check the functionality of ticket spitters and gates daily, ensuring proper operation, ticket availability, accurate time display, and overall cleanliness.
– Provide ticket and gate counter records to the Manager.
– Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies on hand.
– Keep a record of garage sweeping activities.
– Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor equipment such as weed eaters and lawnmowers, and utilize electrical tools for repairs or construction, as applicable.
– Manage snow removal from entrance and exit ramps and designated areas as directed by the Facility Manager using shovels, snow blowers, and other light-duty equipment.
– Report any violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager promptly.
– Practice the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and adhere to the Five Customer Service Behaviors to foster positive customer interactions.
– Assist customers within the facility, or as directed by the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
– Resolve customer complaints, independently or with supervisory support when necessary.
– Be knowledgeable about all operational aspects and fulfill other duties, including cashier and attendant responsibilities, as needed.
– Maintain a professional appearance and consistently adhere to uniform requirements before and during scheduled shifts.
– Perform additional duties as assigned.
