This position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain and repair site conveyors and wrappers.
– Execute fundamental functional testing procedures for equipment.
– Identify issues by monitoring the automation field and perform necessary repairs.
– Oversee and document processes to ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance activities.
– Conduct inspections and safe maintenance of machinery, equipment, and warehouse facilities.
– Measure performance, compare results against objectives, and execute corrective actions while maintaining required reports.
– Foster and promote exceptional customer service.
– Interpret and enforce company policies and safety protocols to ensure compliance within the team.
Qualifications for Success at GXO:
Minimum Requirements:
– A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience with electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with computerized scanning equipment, along with the ability to read basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
– Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may involve weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
– A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
– At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
– Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
– Experience in warehousing or third-party logistics (3PL).
– Familiarity with combustible dust and intrinsically safe electrical standards.
– Proficient in carpentry, painting, and plastering, with some knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and vehicle servicing.
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to lift objects of diverse shapes, sizes, and weights.
– Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
– Capability to reach overhead, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
– Tolerance for varying temperature conditions in a warehouse environment.
