Job description:
You will contribute significantly to enhancing the resident experience through the diligent upkeep of the facility, which includes the building, its systems, and the surrounding grounds. You will leverage your technical and leadership skills to monitor, coordinate, and execute building maintenance, services, and repairs. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and leading your team while effectively managing the budget, equipment, and other resources. Your role will be vital in ensuring the safety program’s effectiveness within the facility.

Your work schedule is structured around the traditional business week, but it requires the flexibility to respond to on-demand facility needs, either on-site or remotely, as circumstances dictate.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in physical plant and equipment management within an institutional environment, including supervisory or management responsibilities. A solid understanding of relevant state and federal laws and regulations concerning laundry and housekeeping practices in long-term care is essential. Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with proficient oral and written communication capabilities, are also required.
