We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install production and packaging line equipment and machinery. This includes executing preventative maintenance projects according to a predetermined schedule, as well as addressing emergency and non-emergency situations. Adherence to safety regulations, as well as GMP and quality standards, is essential to ensure the smooth operation of the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review work orders, prioritize maintenance requests, troubleshoot repairs, and develop a coordinated plan with colleagues and supervisors to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Replace, repair, adjust, install, and modify electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, tools, and machinery as needed.
  • Interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and plans; perform installations, fabrications, welding, cutting, grinding, and other machining tasks; and maintain the maintenance logbook as required.
  • Conduct inspections of work and work areas, and perform clean-up using appropriate tools and methods.
  • Build, sharpen, repair, or modify parts using lathes, surface grinders, mills, honing equipment, and other machinery to meet work order specifications.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining energy sources, including boilers, refrigeration units, coolers, air compressors, and HVAC systems.
  • Provide guidance on preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Proactively identify and document actions to prevent nonconformities related to food safety and product quality, processes, and safety systems.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of each shift and engage in general housekeeping duties as required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform repeated lifting and bending.
  • Capacity to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Proficient in mechanical or manual labor involving weights over 75lbs.

Hours & Workdays:
