As a Maintenance Technician III at our premier Class A, 446-unit garden-style community located 30 minutes from downtown Boston in Peabody, MA, you will play a crucial role as part of our property maintenance team. Your responsibilities will include:

– Preserving and maintaining our multi-million dollar luxury community to ensure a high-quality living experience for our residents.
– Employing your advanced troubleshooting and technical skills to identify and resolve issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water systems, swimming pools, and security systems.
– Fostering strong relationships with residents by assisting them in resolving various general maintenance issues, including appliance repair, flooring, cabinetry, locks, and drywall, in a timely manner.
– Collaborating with the Service Supervisor to prepare make-ready schedules and conduct thorough inspections of all make-ready units to ensure they are in excellent condition and ready for prospective residents.
– Ordering necessary supplies and equipment from approved vendors.
– Contributing to the service team’s ongoing efforts to maintain strong curb appeal throughout the property.

Qualifications for this position include:

– A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in multifamily or hotel maintenance.
– Strong knowledge and expertise in HVAC systems, electrical work, plumbing, appliance repair, and general carpentry.
– HVAC/EPA certification and Fair Housing training are required.
– CPO and CAMT (Apartment Maintenance) certifications are also a requirement (these can be obtained post-hire).
– Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook).
– Full training on makeready scheduling, Payables Nexus for ordering supplies, and Yardi for processing service requests will be provided (training may occur after hire).
– Exemplary customer service skills.
– Availability to be on call as needed.
