Job description:
Required Tasks:
– Perform basic building and plumbing repairs as needed.
– Execute fundamental heating and air-conditioning repairs.
– Oversee cleaning and maintenance of the building, grounds, and parking lot.
– Conduct testing and maintenance of pool chemicals to ensure safety and quality.
– Maintain and clean the pool, spa, and surrounding area in accordance with hotel standards.
– Ensure the cleanliness of the pool area is upheld at all times.
– Empty and clean garbage receptacles regularly.
– Make minor decisions related to tasks as required.
– Utilize common tools to perform simple repairs as assigned.
– Maintain an inventory of supplies and parts used for repairs and preventive maintenance.
– Submit supply orders to the General Manager as needed for procurement.
– Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
– Follow all safety guidelines and procedures as directed.
– Maintain a neat and professional appearance, including wearing a clean uniform with a name tag.
– Implement and sustain an active preventive maintenance program as prescribed for the hotel.
– Assist housekeeping with furniture removal and other assigned tasks from the supervisor.
– Uphold a professional demeanor when interacting with guests, colleagues, and vendors.

Required Skills:
